St. Matthew Lutheran Church is located in Springfield, in Delaware County Pennsylvania, a suburban community south of Philadelphia. We are only 20 minutes away from the Philadelphia International Airport, and just a few minutes from Exit 3 of I-476 (the "Blue Route").  We are located at the corner of Lynbrooke and Bennett Roads in Springfield, Delaware County, PA. From I-476 to Baltimore Pike
(I-476 is the Mid-County exit off the Penna. Turnpike and Exit 7 off I-95)

From I-476, take Exit 3 (Media/Swarthmore).  At the end of the exit ramp, turn onto Baltimore Pike towards Springfield and Swarthmore as the sign indicates.  At the 12th traffic light, turn left onto Saxer Avenue (there is a Swiss Farms on the corner).  Make the 3rd right onto Bennett Road and continue 3 blocks to Lynbrooke Road.  To view a map, click on "See Map" at the top of this page.

From Philadelphia via Route 1
(Route 1 is Roosevelt Blvd., then City Line Ave. then Township Line)

Traveling on Route 1 South, cross over West Chester Pike.  Go through Havertown and Drexel Hill.  Turn left onto Rolling Road which is the light past State Road (Drexeline Shopping Center).  At the 2nd Stop sign, turn left onto Springfield Road.  Cross over the trolley tracks and continue to the 4th street on your right, Bennett Road, and make a right (before Bennett, you'll pass Brookside Road, Powell Road and Alford Road).  Follow Bennett Road for 6 blocks to Lynbrooke Road.  To view a map, click on "See Map" at the top of this page.
